Returns Policy

ONLINE RETURNS POLICY – UK

UNWANTED ITEMS/CHANGE OF MIND

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving your order and in the same condition as when purchased.
  • The buyer is responsible for return postage costs (£10 DPD label for UK orders).
  • Golfclubs4cash reserves the right to reduce the refund if the condition of the clubs has worsened noticeably. The purchase amount will be refunded to your original payment method.
  • Golfclubs4cash can withdraw the returns policy if it is used excessively by any customer.


FAULTY/ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED

  • Please get in touch with our Customer Service team within 30 days of receiving your purchase.
  • If returned, postage cost will be covered by golfclubs4cash.
  • Faulty or damaged clubs must be returned in full, including any broken parts, for inspection by ourselves.
  • Purchase amount & Delivery will be refunded to your original payment method.
  • We have a dedicated PGA Repairs Team on site, please check with our Customer Service Team regarding the scope of a faulty item being repaired.


ITEMS RETURNED IN DIFFERENT CONDITION THAN SOLD (Applicable to UK & ROW)

  • Please note that any orders returned to us that are not in the same condition as sold are subject to review and the refundable amount may vary depending on the extent of wear.
  • For clubs that are sold in the cellophane 'As New' condition and are subsequently returned with the cellophane removed but still in 'Excellent' condition, these items will be subject to review and a deduction in the total refundable amount.

NEW ITEM RETURNS POLICY

  • In addition to used items, we also sell brand new items, identifiable by a six-digit SKU code. If you wish to return a new item, please ensure it is in the same condition as when you received it. This means the item must be unused and undamaged.
  • For used items, any additional signs of use or damage will not be accepted for a return. However, if you have used the item and no longer want it, we offer a trade-in value. This trade-in value will be 15% higher than the standard trade-in value for its condition. Please note that this trade-in offer is only valid for 30 days after the purchase date.


GOLFCLUBS4CASH WARRANTY

You can shop with us with peace of mind at golfclubs4cash, whilst a manufacturer’s warranty isn’t applicable to second hand items, we extend a 6 month duty of care for your orders.

For any natural fault which has occurred from an order within the past 6 months, contact our Customer Service Team. Please supply pictures of the damaged sustained while explaining how this occurred and they would gladly assist.

STORE RETURNS POLICY

  • Golfclubs4cash offers a unique 14 day trial period on most of our used golf equipment.
  • In the event of an item not being returned in the same condition, Golfclubs4cash reserves the right to reduce the refund amount.
  • Golfclubs4cash can withdraw the returns policy if it is used excessively by any customer.
  • All used equipment comes with a 30 day limited warranty against breakages. All warranty claim decisions are left at the sole discretion of GC4C.
  • Any new clubs purchased, i.e. never been hit with original cellophane, cannot be returned within the 14 days once they have been used, and would be treated as a standard trade-in based on condition.
  • Upon return of an item, any store credit balance used to purchase it will be refunded as store credit.
  • Any items bought online that are returned to our store for a refund will be given to our online team to process within 24 hours.

EU Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers Only)

If you are purchasing as a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

These withdrawal rights apply only to consumers purchasing for personal use and do not apply to business-to-business transactions.

 

Your Right to Withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods.

Where goods are delivered in multiple consignments, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after receipt of the final consignment.

 

How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by a clear statement.

When contacting us, please provide your order number and contact details to help us process your request promptly.

 

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of our standard delivery service.

If you selected a delivery method that is more expensive than our standard delivery option, we will not reimburse the additional delivery costs.

We are unable to reimburse any customs duties, import VAT, brokerage fees or other charges collected by customs authorities or carriers, as these amounts are not paid to us.

We may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Examples of handling beyond what is necessary may include signs of use on club faces, shafts, grips or other evidence that the equipment has been used on a golf course, driving range or in a manner inconsistent with inspection of the goods.

 

Customised and Personalised Products

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that have been made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalised.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Custom shaft installations or shaft changes
  • Custom club length alterations
  • Lie and loft adjustments requested by the customer
  • Custom grip installations or grip build-up modifications
  • Bespoke club builds assembled to a customer's requested specification
  • Any other modification carried out at the customer's request that alters the original specification of the product

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to customised or personalised goods made to the customer's specifications. This exclusion applies regardless of whether production or modification work has commenced.

Where an order contains both customised and non-customised goods, the withdrawal right will apply only to the non-customised goods.

 

Returning the Goods

You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision to withdraw from the contract.

You will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless otherwise agreed.

You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession and until they are returned to us.

Customs Requirements for EU Returns

If you choose to arrange your own return shipment, please ensure:

  • Our EORI number GB155674779000 is included in the shipment documentation.
  • The parcel is clearly marked as "Returned Goods".
  • The original order number is included.
  • The customs declaration states: "Goods originally exported from the UK and returned following cancellation."

If the parcel is returned without the required customs information and we incur customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or administration charges as a result, these amounts may be deducted from your refund.

Please note that if you arrange your own return shipment, we cannot accept responsibility for goods that are lost, delayed or damaged in transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured delivery service.

 

FedEx Return Labels

We can arrange a FedEx return shipping label for customers returning goods from the EU. The cost of the label will be deducted from your refund.

Please contact our Customer Service team at info@golfclubs4cash.co.uk for a quotation based on your country of return.

 

Refund Timing

We will make any reimbursement without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

However, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be made using the same means of payment used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise.

 

Important Note on Customs Charges

Any customs duties, import VAT, brokerage fees or similar charges paid to customs authorities or carriers in your country are not refundable by Golfclubs4Cash.

You may be able to reclaim such charges directly from the relevant customs authority in your country. Please contact your local customs office for further information.
